Dave Paladino

Director of Health and Fitness
Dave Paladino is director of health and fitness at C.O.R.E. The Center of Fitness. A master certified personal trainer with the I.F.P.A., he is one of New Jersey’s elite health and wellness professionals. He also is a certified martial arts instructor and holds a third-degree black belt in Goshin Do Nagai Ryu Kempo karate, Samurai Nagai Ryu Jiu-Jitsu under Grand Master Bob Long and Master Brian Long; a first-degree black belt in Shukokai karate under Chief Instructor Kimura; and has been training for nine years in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Renzo Gracie, Jamie Cruz, Karl Pravec of Silver Fox Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
With more than 25 years of experience in the fitness industry and in martial arts, Dave is a trainer for celebrities. He has trained television, movie and radio personalities including Jason Cerbone, Jackie Jr. from The Sopranos; Jeff Marchetti, actor and stunt man from The Sopranos and OZ; Terri Colombino, actress from As the World Turns, Arthur Colombino, actor and musician; Emme, super model, television host for E Fashion Emergency, author and motivational speaker; Mike Rizzo, Billboard DJ/remixer/producer; Michael Wright, power forward, M.V.P. for Turkey,European Professional and New York Knicks basketball draft pick, and many more.
Dave has been featured in many magazines and publications such as People, Life’s Little Emergencies, Men’s Health, Muscle and Fitness and many more and was a private body guard for the original HBO show the Sopranos. Also an accomplished athlete, Dave played many years of baseball and basketball on the college and semi pro level.
Dave has been devoting a lot of his time to MMA conditioning and training for fighters of all levels. With the recent addition to C.O.R.E. Dave opened C.O.R.E. Performance Training a 7,000 square foot sports performance facility and MMA / Wrestling training space. C.O.R.E. Performance Training is the home of STRIKE-FIT an extreme MMA group fitness program designed and created by Dave. STRIKE-FIT will challenge even a professional athlete as it incorporates not only boxing, kicking, wrestling, kick-boxing, karate, jiu jitsu but includes a demanding strength and conditioning program. The classes are all instructed by skilled instructors with an extensive background in fitness and martial arts.
Dave has also been very busy training wrestlers of all ages and has recently launched A.W.A strength and conditioning. Advantage Wrestling Academy is a wrestling strength and conditioning program that has produced some incredible results not only physically but on a mental level as well. He is currently the strength and conditioning coach for St. Joseph Regional High School wrestling and has produced many successful athletes from his training including NJ State finalist. A.W.A. training is unique and incorporates a vast range of techniques and training designed for group and team training or one on one.
